Meet Owen Erasmus
Site Manager
Meet Owen Erasmus, who joined our team as a site manager in early 2023. Owen has experience in the renewable energy industry, and manages installation teams when they are on site. He ensures that they operate efficiently and safely, delivering our clients' solutions technically correctly and on time. His goal is to establish a great reputation in the solar industry, and we are sure he will do just that.

To achieve our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a dynamic International Marketing Consultant to support the International Marketing department in its primary marketing, brand and administrative duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-growing company, working in an industry that matters.

Duties and responsibilities
Brand
Enforce brand guidelines - audit internal and external material and processes, identify non-compliance and re-brand/adapt as necessary
Source and brand of company clothing and merchandise
Vehicle branding
Help develop and implement the “doing good” Corporate Social Responsibility plan
Client experience and acquisition
Bring the client brand experience to life
Arrange functions, client trips, new business development events
Source and brand appropriate gifts
Implement the sponsorship plan
Evaluate sponsorship and media requests
Activate and arrange sponsorships and events to get maximum value – e.g. industry events, exhibitions, shows
Manage and produce exhibition materials and branding
Produce marketing collateral such as presentations, brochures, business cards
Reporting and monitoring - analyse research results, reports, online performance metrics, marketing campaign performance
Track competitor marketing
Assist Marketing Manager with acquisition/leads campaigns
Employee experience
Bring the employee brand experience to life
Support the Marketing Manager and HR to align staff with company mission, vision, values
Produce staff welcome packs and new employee brand training
Celebrate milestones
Manage staff events and initiatives such as quarterly updates and year-end functions
Produce employee communications and collateral such as newsletters, presentations, merchandise, posters
Marketing operations and support
Organise and manage online marketing libraries e.g. client testimonials, marketing material, project footage, case studies
Support the Marketing Manager in organising various projects and campaigns
Manage marketing & communications calendar

Requirements
Relevant diploma/degree such as marketing or commerce with two years’ experience OR Honours level qualification
Driver’s license
Own transport
Beneficial
Experience and qualification as a marketing consultant would be preferred, but candidates with senior/executive personal assistant or events management experience will also be considered
Specifications
Location: Avontuur wine farm, Stellenbosch. This is not a remote work position, you will need to be in the office
Work hours 08:00-17:00 SAST Monday to Friday. By exception, you may have to be available during UK business hours from time to time
Salary range, depending on experience: R20,000 – R30,000 pm
The position reports to the International Marketing Manager, that has a dual reporting line to the SA and UK MD’s
